Linolenic acid, the plant-based omega-3 EFA, converts at just 1%

to DHA and .1% to EPA and other than that tiny conversion it has

no use at all in the body. The balance that is not LNA and not

converted, 99%, is a hazard or at least, to be considered in your

diet and allowed for.

My Budwig Diet revision explains why we should use REAL EFAs in

adequate quantity, DHA and EPA are plentiful in wild coldwater

fish oil.
