I am talking about what it looks like before I heat it to cook with

it. The India oil is clear as water in liquid form before heating. I

don't know if the TT oil is clear as water before heating as I have

not had it long enough and the temp around here is below 76 degrees

so my oil is solid all the time. I eat my oil both ways. Raw and

prepared with food when I cook. I never reuse my oil, if that is

what you are asking when you ask " how many reheatings do you do " .

I will put some of the TT oil in a glass and set the glass in some

warm water so it can become liquid and see if it is clear or not.

Later....

heat, and expeller pressed. It would be either of the two.

However, traditional vcno should also be clear as water when in

liquid form. But i gather that in the US your oil turns solid, and

you probably heat it before taking it. How many reheatings do you

do? That could change the color of your oil.

The India oil from WFN that I have been using the longest, stays

pure white. I have used it long enough to have in in all kinds of

temperatures.

Production process is probably the difference. Indian oil is probably

centrifuged. As to TT's they sell traditional, with low heat, and expeller

pressed. It would be either of the two. However, traditional vcno should also

be clear as water when in liquid form. But i gather that in the US your oil

turns solid, and you probably heat it before taking it. How many reheatings do

Comparision

I just bought TT organic VCO for the first time in about 2 years. I

have been using the WFN India oil but bought this oil because my HFS

had it and I was out of the India oil. Anyway this oil looks grey to

me compared to the India oil. The India oil is pure solid white.

This oil is not pure soild white. It also has a very strong

unpleasant coconut smell. What is the different between these 2 oils?
