I think this may come from the studies of bran muffins, made with ground

flaxseed added.

AS THEY WERE BAKED AT 350 Degrees.

It appears, that in baking the internal temperature of the muffin is not

nearly that high. And not for very long.

If the muffin reached an internal temp of 350 it would resemble a lump of

coal. You can test this at home, keep the fire extinguisher and the 911

phone at hand.

So the research with muffins laced with flaxseed showed that the added

flaxseed was beneficial.

In general flaxseed oil needs to be kept cold!

Consider that while it is still in the ground meal state that it has other

micronutrients that may well provide protection as yet undiscovered.

However the oil is fragile.

Best Regards,

Lorenzo
