Guest guest
Dandruff and oily hair seem to often occur as a result of sodium laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate, which are typical ingredients in commercial shampoos. You could stop using shampoo altogether, it takes 2-3 weeks for the hair to adjust to being cleaned with water only. Alternatively, I'd probably use a very mild soap (non-commercial but rather from a private soapmaker who can tell you exactly what the soap consists of). I also remember from my childhood that we used to have our hair covered in coconut oil every Saturday overnight, so we'd have shiny hair the next day after washing it! claudia Coconunt oil and oily hair What does one do for oily hair and dandruff? Our son must wash his hair every day or it looks as if someone had emptied the oil can on his head. He also has a lot of dandruff. Would putting coconut oil on his hair make it better or worse?
