Yes, I'm still following it Bonnie. It's 2 years for me now and I'm

still on the lowest dose of the 2nd phase without a lot to show for

it but I'm committed for another year or so given how bad my condition is.

It is easier (not easy) for me since I am very disabled and cannot go

out much anyway. I think they are now starting to encourage people

to follow it even if they cannot avoid the natural light much. One

can use the glasses and certain sunscreens to mitigate their absorption also.

Lately I've started being very much stricter with my low carb dieting

and I feel better for it. Plus I only ever use the VCNO and VOO

these days and I'm sure that must be helping as well.

Trevor Marshall believes that all our symptoms are due to the high

1,25-D, St Amand believes it is a flaw in the kidney tubule which

blocks the release of excess phosphate, calcium & oxalates, Lowe

believes it is low thyroid, Peat believes it is wrong oils and poor

protein levels, etc. I think many of the various treatments work for

different individuals depending on which system is most affected so

I'm always looking for the bottom line. Not sure Marshall has found

it but that's where I am for the next year or so.

My experiential understanding of life is that my beliefs manifest my

experience so I'm also consistently witnessing my thoughts and

reminding myself to be fully conscious of the fact that I'm already

whole and just need to remember that. I look on all treatments as

spells. They are the formats that activate my intention. ;)

What are the health risks of too much vitamin D?

Vitamin D toxicity can cause nausea, vomiting, poor appetite,

constipation, weakness, and weight loss [59]. It can also raise blood

levels of calcium [6], causing mental status changes such as confusion.

High blood levels of calcium also can cause heart rhythm abnormalities.

Calcinosis, the deposition of calcium and phosphate in the body's soft

tissues such as the kidney, can also be caused by vitamin D toxicity [4].

Sun exposure is unlikely to result in vitamin D toxicity [60]

intake exceeding the lowest observed adverse effect level. Am J Clin

Nutr 2001;73(2):288-94.

Hi Ron:

I'm not sure where to find my blood test right now and since it is in Metric

(for Canada) it might not help you. But I do remember that the 1,25 D conversion

was 3.5 times the normal limit.

Does that make sense?
