Guest guest
be careful of the canned coconut water i was wanting to switch to that but read it can give you bathroom problems and then other than straight from a coconut i could only find it with sugar added. it was sickeningly sweet. the straight is sooo much better. I use it to make scrambled eggs now. S. [lists] Jumex or Goya coconut water! Now, please, dont think I am playing doctor...but I have to say something about my own personal experience with coconut juice. Yes, I use coconut oil everyday in my oatmeal or on my toast...but I have ventured farther and have found out something else. I decided to try coconut water. I found it on sale at the grocery store. It is a product of " Goya " or Jumex. They both sell it. I wanted to see if it would help me with my liver problem. I have to go get this week and get blood work done so will post on any changes on that when i get results BUT... This is what i wanted to share.... I am a diabetic. I am very insulin dependent. Since drinking the coconut water...and it is high carb for me...29 carbs per drink...my BGs are staying down! I drink a can of it...along with my meal...do my insulin and an hour later...test...and my BGs are in the normal range...I havent changed the dosage of my insulin at all either! I dont know if this is a temporary thing or whether the combo of " water and oil " is helping my pancreas to produce the insulin that I need to take care of the carbs I am eating..I truly hope so. I am not suggesting that anyone try this...I am sharing my experience with this wonderful discovery. Again, I will keep all of you posted. This is the 3rd week of the water and oil...so far so good. Have a wonderful day, everyone! Jimslady55 --------------------------------- How low will we go? Check out Messenger's low PC-to-Phone call rates.
