Hi, I was taking Coconut oil. I told my Dr and he told me to stop it

immediately. Said it was very bad for my health. I then called American

Heart Associaiton and they said the same thing. So I guess you could say..

I am quite confused....

Just out of curiosity, Nina, what were the signs that taught you that

lesson? I'm just getting started on VCO, and the little bit I've been

taking, my complexion has gone through a phase of becoming rather bad and

blotchy to now after about a week, looking nice and really smooth again!

If your doctor has advised you to stop taking VCO, ask him if it's alright

for you to use VCO as cooking oil...

Your doctor's objection to VCO is not that you ate it raw. It is that it is

a saturated fat, which is by definition bad. You might try firing him, or

some reasonable facsimile.
