A plea from a digest reader

Please, folks, can you *please* make sure that when you send a post to the

list, you don't copy an entire digest back to the list? Three in the past three

days I've had to scroll through an entire digest reposted back at the end of a

brief reply to one post in the digest. It's not hard to scroll down past the

text

you just wrote and delete everything else in your email before you send it out.

If you want to respond directly to a particular snippet from a post, please

take a few minutes and ask for someone's help if you need it in learning to

cut and paste. Even my 80-year-old non-computer-literate mom has learned

to do this.

Most of all, though, please consider the wasted time spent by those of us

who read the list in digest form scrolling through reposting after reposting

after reposting of the digest! (And this request applies to long individual

posts you reply to, too -- it's very frustrating to have to scroll and

scroll and scroll to get to the next post!) Thanks!
