Guest guest
Wanted to know how many on here like to cook? It's good to know how to cause one gets tired of nuking Stouffer's or Swanson's. I love to cook pasta creations, chicken, eggs. I haven't cooked a turkey yet. I met some though. lol I do love to cook when I have time. I inherited from it both sides of my family. My mom's side is Italian, Hungarian and a bit Mongolian. While Dad's side is German, Irish and French. Tonight with the help of Newman (well not him per se, but his sauce lol), Mueller's and a pound of Black Angus chopped meat, Italian bread, Mrs. Dash, parmesan cheese. Hopefully a nice Italian dinner will be happening and Child or the Galloping Gourmet will be proud. :-) Helen
Guest guest
I actually learned how to cook just this year. I've never wanted to learn but then I came down with mono this spring and had to leave college and go back home for a few months to recover. My mom is a wonderful cook and so when I couldn't leave the house and was bored out of my mind, she finally got me to do it. Now I love cooking. my favorites are stir-fry and italian. I have some great receipes now and if anyone ever wants to trade, let me know. (my mother would be so proud) naomi >From: HelenJW@... >dwarfismonelist >Subject: Anyone a cook? >Date: Sat, 4 Dec 1999 17:43:16 EST > >From: HelenJW@... > >Wanted to know how many on here like to cook? > >It's good to know how to cause one gets tired of nuking Stouffer's or >Swanson's. Guest guest
In the winter I go for the crock pot stuff...like stews, soups, chili. I promised my neighbors one more pot of chili before I take my break. However, roasts are my specialty. I'm a basic cook but the line is outside my door on Sundays hehe. I think Sunday is chili day though. Karin
Guest guest
I love to cook and I like to try new things. I owe my cooking skills to countless hours of watching cooking shows on Saturday and Sunday on PBS. Mum had let me cook when I was young and I owe her a thank you too. When, I moved out I was able to put those skills to work. The stereotype of a college student living on his own and living off frozned dinners, take-out or living off cereal and frozen waffles. I did cook for myself and my roommate. She also likes to cook and we spent many of nights feasting on dinners like Cream Meatballs over rice or Italiano Chicken with Wild Rice and fresh green beans. My main forte is desserts. Ranging from pumpkin cheesecake to chocolate tortes with chocolate covered strawberries to fresh blueberry cobber. Well, to tall I do like cooking and all this talk of food is making me hungry. Good day to all and happy cooking. Todd > >I actually learned how to cook just this year.
