I must say Grady and I have our different ideas but I agree with him

on this one :) It seems majority of the population is in the

computuer world and what better way to get the word out than

websites. I along with many of my friends have sites because it's

fun to share pictures of events. I have noticed though that people

who are not firmiliar with dwarfism or parents who's child has just

been diagnosed has found my site and e-mailed me. I didn't know that

my site could make such an impact! I know when I am surfing I like

to go on to other districts websites and look around and see how

their regionals went or what there news is. Unfortunately some

haven't been updated in over a year or don't have any pictures.

At my regional this past weekend, some parents were talking about

when their child was diagnosed with dwarfism. That alot of hospitals

had no idea about LPA or much info to give them so after researching

on their own on the puter they found the lpa website and others as

well.

Websites can be tricky at first to set up, alot of trial and error

along with time to scan in all the pictures. After some practice you

get the hang of it and it becomes really easy. It is imporant to

keep in mind that not only do we put them up for fun but that they

do help people as well!

:)
