This young person wants to write about 'your people' so that 'his people' may understand us much better. First of all, adolescences around his age, cannot express themselves too well until they have gained the experience of age and practice. Secondly, he runs the risk of writing something 'faux pas' on a subject of which he knows nothing about. I would suggest that he 'bone up' on something that is of interest and knowledge. In a few years (quite a few years) he should rethink his choice of subject. The authors of books on LPs - those from 'his kind' have a personal knowledge of LPs through living experiences, friendships and investigation - not from an interview with one or two of 'us'. I applaud his motives but advise that he gain more maturity and experience in and with the subjects of his proposed book. What do you think?
