I do feel bad for the person in florida for who that happened to,

in my previous statement I stated that I highly doubt, I did not

say it would never happen. It should never happen at all yet we all

know that bad things happen like kidnappings or murder. I would be

interested to know out of all of the members in LPA, that the

incident in florida has occured. But I would rather support getting

rid of demoralizing shows that I still see dwarfs portrayed in.

That is something that is mainstream that you pick the remote and

change a channel and there is a dwarf being mad fun of or mocked

at. That is something that deserves more focus than something I

have never seen or people I know have never seen. I think also

there needs to be education for schools and children. If we can

educate young for tolerance and equality then that hopefully will

reflect in adult life. Hate breeds from ignorance. Again I am

against dwarf tossing or other demening acts but legislation is not

what is needed in this case but education. To me education will

filter out those acts, to me legislation does not take away

ignorance.

-as always just my thought

Thanks for the welcome !

I know what you mean about good and bad days - I get encouraged by the good days and try to figure out what preceded them, and then, yes, suddenly they're back! Sometimes I wonder if they went on vacation or are re-grouping and hatching! I try to stay positive, but the longer this goes on the more difficult that is. It does take a toll on you. I pray someone (as Bessie says, "the big guns") will find an answer for all of us.

Best regards,

Judy

Re: epidemic?

Dear Judy, thanks for your message and welcome to the group. I onlyjoined a couple of months or so ago. We have had the mites sinceNovember, but it could have been a bit longer at a low level. We havebeen trying some of the remedies suggested but find it hard to know whatis working, because when the situation improves briefly we think it isbecause of something we've done... but if you do nothing you still havegood and bad days and it is hard to know why! And then if things improvethey seem to get worse again after... so just keep trying. It hascertainly been devastating for my family on all sorts of levels.I am in the UK and here as well no one wants to acknowledge this as aproblem officially. So no help from doctors or anyone else. The stressof trying to deal with it all is incredible. This group is very good -there are some very good people. And the relief of finding others whoknow what you are going through, and some who have got rid of the mites,or are well on the way to doing so. Best wishes, > >> > It seems to me, if these critters infest so easily, and spread tonew> areas so easily, and are so hard to get rid of, we should be seeing an> epidemic of the invisible biting mite.> > Is the epidemic still in its starting phase, or is there some factor> limiting the spread, such as some people are unaffected?> > So many questions about these tiny crawling biting buggers, and so> little official information.> >>

Judy- I know how stressful it can be. My family of four had the mites for a long

time. I thought i would never see the day when my life would return to normal.

But i have, and you will too. Stick with this group, they saved my life, and

they will help you too. The answer is right here. DO stay positive!

Holly is soo right! The angels on this forum gave me back what 'this' stole from me...that was HOPE. If not for these wonderful people my family of 6 would all have our own padded cells somewhere! cause they were driving us nuts...lol. Ask questions, make suggestions, do or say whatever you feel and you will find what works for you. Good luck. chas> > > >> > > > It seems to me, if these critters infest so easily, and spread to> > new> > > areas so easily, and are so hard to get rid of, we should be seeing an> > > epidemic of the invisible biting mite.> > > > Is the epidemic still in its starting phase, or is there some factor> > > limiting the spread, such as some people are unaffected?> > > > So many questions about these tiny crawling biting buggers, and so> > > little official information.> > > >> > >> >>

Thanks Holly. I am so glad you're still here - there are so few people that I can see that have beat this thing. I'm trying to go over the older posts and see if you've posted your protocol that you consider key in your success?

Thanks for the encouragement!

Best regards,

Judy

Angels is right Chas, that's what I feel all of you are! I'm especially amazed at those who have won the battle and are still pitching in to help all of us who are still struggling. I hope one day I'll be one of those!

Judy, I'm not alone in this train of thought.....once I went through the pain and the feeling of total abandonment from the medical profession I could not turn my heart or mind off to anyone who has to live with this on their skin. Many people have been through some very serious illnesses and they have all told me that this nightmare of skin parasites is worse than any thing they have ever went through. So when the nights seem to be never ending remember that thanks to Tim, the owner of this site you are not alone. Others are going through exactly what you are dealing with. There is hope and one day it will all be just a memory. Keep trying............Rita

Thank you. I am not through the fog yet. My attic is infested, and we are moving

in a month, so i have to get up there and clean it out. I have been burning

menthol crystals in hopes that it will kill most of them off. I have been going

through a cycle of clearing them out and getting reinfected. This is good for

the forum because i can try different things, and know for sure whether they

work or not. I have not posted my whole protocol yet. It would be futile to

search my posts, i post alot. lol. I will do a basic rundown when i get some

time and post it. Main thing is to be aggressive in your treating. Every chance

you get, every day. Do as much as you can. There are tips and tricks, but it is

up to you how fast you get through this. I and everyone else, are on here to

help, and get help. Not everyone always agrees, but take from it what you need

and leave the rest. You will see the day.
