Guest guest
You know, I'm born and raised in Alaska. When I went back after school private industry couldn't wait to hire me. They were desperate for anyone disabled to fulfill the government quotas. The feds have it out for Alaska and hiring policies even in a " No Hire " period. The fields of all engineering types are way overloaded up there. And, the government has to rehire the ones they lay off first before they can hire new ones. It can take a couple of years to get a job in your field. Why do you think so many people with masters degrees and doctorates are washing dishes up there? Goodness it's not a dwarf thing at all. If I were to go back tomorrow it would still take me 3 to 6 months to get a job and then it would probably be library clerk.
