Hello Me Mom =)

I am relieved to hear this news. I think you've had your fair share and this

business should come to a stop! You just take it easy and rest!

Oh, whatever happened to the WC spies?

Hi Rainy Sue,

Well first they don't care what I need or don't need. I do need this

medicine it is the prilosec and I need to be taking it twice a day. The

pharmacist tried to help me and put it threw my personel choice. The

original bill was over $700.00 and this got it down to $600.00. I wish my

attorney would call. I think what he will say is to wait until we start

settlement and then he will get the money back. The problem is paying for

it each month. It cost 200.00 a month, with my insurance I have to pay the

bill first and then they send back the 50 to 80% refund. It will be hard

to come up with an extra 200.00 each month. My Personal Choice just went

up 66.00 a month.

As far as WC goes they just want to make your life so miserable that you

walk away, that is what their job is. With my two daughters I can't walk

away and why should I. Someone has to be responsible for what has happened

to me. My employers legally fired me and at that point I was the insurance

companies problem. I keep praying the SS will pass this time, I am waiting

for my hearing date. If that would pass we would end this within 60 days.

Hope your day is good. Thanks for the shoulders.

Hi Me Mom,

I know about the Prilosec! That stuff is ridiculously spendy. I am lucky bcs

my ins covers it and I don't have to take it as often as you, I take when

needed.

I will keep praying that your SS goes through! This is getting stupid, too!

One day these people may, god forbid, be in the same situation and wish they

had hurried it along while they were working there for all of us. But then,

there are millions of people to get to. And not to mention all the ones that

are trying to cheat the system. They are slow to protect us. Bcs if they just

hurried everyone through a lot of " fakes " would get through which would mean

lower checks and less help for us. Not that it's very high now!

Oh, well. Hang on! The ride should be over soon since this has been going on

forever. But I must ask. What the heck is your lawyer doing to help you??

Seems to me he just sits on his butt.

Hi Me Mom,

My next Remicade is January 30. I think I may have to reschedule it. This

cold isn't entirely gone. I am coughing green gunk up and should call my doc

tomorrow. Since the appt is only 2 weeks away, I doubt there is time to get

completely well for the Remicade.

I don't blame ya for being angry at your attorney. He doesn't seem to do a

whole lot. I know you've been with him a long time, but could you get

another? My Dad got me my SS and SSI, and I think it took all of 6 months. As

far as I know, there was no hassle, that is when I was 19.

You're right about this group being SOOOOO great! I am constantly reading

things on the list that I go through and never thought anyone else went

through. Like when your hair hurts. I thought I was nuts! Hair doesn't hurt.

Really, it's the scalp, but it's when you move your hair that it hurts. Where

was this group when I was 13?? =)

Hugs & Smiles,

Rainy Sue

Hi Me Mom,

I will call my RD. It will be easier to get a prescription without having to

go in and see the doc. Not to mention, he knows all my med history. But I

don't think they are open today. It is Luther King Jr's birthday and a

holiday for us over here. The kids are off school. I will call tomorrow. I

promise! =) Thank you for caring sweetie!

Oh, I didn't think about paying 2 lawyers. Sorry! I am just so frustrated for

you! I don't know how you have managed for so long with all this crap. I'd be

in a loony bin! We'll have cyber drinks to celebrate when it is all over! =)

I don't know why it went so fast for me getting SS/SSI. I should talk to my

Dad about it and see. I never had to go to their doc either. I am sure they

got stuff from my then current RD.

I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Hi Rainy,

Right now I am so angry at my attorney and I am not sure what he is doing!

I called him at least five times. I guess now I will have to type him a

letter and explain what happened last week, even that he won't answer. I

can't get another lawyer, we have been in this for 5 1/2 years. I really

wish that big dark cloud would move from over my head. I hate to say

things could get worse. Every time I say that things do get worse.

You are right about all the people who get disability and there is nothing

wrong. They just hurt all the other people who need help. I try not to

get angry about everything taking so long because I know they have to be

sure. It is hard to keep this attitude when I have had seven doctors all

say the same thing. My SS has passed three times at the district level.

It is at the higher level it gets into trouble. I think I will leave it in

God's hands and I will pray.

I was glad to see the post about other people having trouble writing, I

thought it was me. Isn't this the greatest group. Here I find all the

answers I need. My family tries to help but they can't understand what

this is like. I do believe they try but how can they know.

How is that cold? I do hope it is gone for good. When is your next

Remicade appointment? I wish remicade had been my magic bullet. The U. of

P. said it has played a part in the infection I had so that I can never

take it again. I am worried that there will be no immune suppressant

drugs for me in the very near future. I don't know what they will come up

with.

Anyway have a good day,

Me Mom

Hi

I think it would be bad to change now. When I settle I would have to pay

two lawyers. I get mad at him but in the end he comes through. I have

heard of someone who went before the SS judge 7 times before he was

approved. Someone told me that is how the weed out the fraud from the

really ill. I think maybe yours went through so quickly because you were

so young. I'm not sure just guessing.

I think you should definitely call your doctor. Sue that is not good

coughing up green gunk, it means there is a serious infection. Please call

him today, you need to be on medication. The remicade will only make it

worse and is probably the cause of you having this so long. If this is

your primary make sure he knows what remicade is, since I have been sick I

have noticed a lot of doctors are not familiar with this drug. It is just

too new. Please call today before you get worse.
