Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am working with a publisher in the Chicago area that is publishing a book about the life of one of our members - an 8th grade boy in the Denver area, Josh Maudelin. The title of the book is " Never Sell Yourself Short, " by Riggs. The publisher has requested assistance from LPA in acquiring photographs to include in the book. LPA has a large supply of photographs of members taken from national and regional conferences; however, we lack permission to use these photographs in anything but an LPA publication. In some cases I am calling some of our members to provide us with such permission; I also thought that I would ask any of you out there to consider submitting photographs of yourself and/or your families. If possible, the editor has requested that some of these photographs capture people with dwarfism in their work setting (for example, I am trying to get a photograph of Dr. Ain in his surgical scrubs.) This is a great opportunity to show the vast scope of careers within the dwarf community. For those interested, I will supply a Fed-Ex number for sending photographs to me. Please pick photographs that you don't mind getting back for a few weeks. Also, for some reason, the publisher is unable to accept electronic files. Thanks for your assistance. Feel free to contact me at egan921@... if you have questions. Cara Egan LPA Public Relations
