Guest guest
n Mc was a good friend of one of my good friends, but I never had the privilege to meet him. I always believed I would one day, and looked forward to the meeting. At first I thought it might be awkward to write about someone I had never met, but our lives are touched by people we never meet everyday. My friend would tell me stories of n's kindness and hard work. He didn't have an easy life. Many people don't, but he made the best he could out of the situation, and was always concerned about others. How do you encapsulate a human life. My favorite eulogy was the one given by Senator Kennedy at the funeral of his brother, Senator Kennedy, on June 8, 1968 - before n was born. On that day, Senator Kennedy said of his brother, " he should be remembered as a good and decent man... " That line has struck me as something we should all try to achieve. n did achieve it. He was twenty-seven years old when he died. Well done, young man. Davey Lamb
