Guest guest
One of the gifts I received this past holiday season was a pair of gold-colored springy things. " Oh thanks, , " I mustered to my friend. " You don't know what these are do you? " she asked when she saw how stumped I was by the things in my hand. Not a clue was my reply. What I was now the proud owner of was a set of arm bands. Slip them on over your long sleeves and push up. They will stay there. (Brief aside -- apparantly average sized folks like to push their sleeves up, too. Who knew?) Here's the great part of the story -- THEY WORK!!!!!! I hate sleeves on my wrist; even the 3/4 length sleeves bug me so I'm always rolling up my sleeves. Problem is when you roll, you stretch the & #@% out of the wristband. With these bands, the wrists don't get all pulled out of shape. They are comfy, too. I've been wearing them all weekend and there have been no marks on my arms or that binded feeling. Pretty cool, huh? Well, I have come to the end of my fashion report. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season (could someone from either Canada or England explain Boxing Day to me, please?) and here's wishes that your saddest day in the new year is no worse than your best day in old year.
