Guest guest
Hi, It isn't a matter of not liking food. Ask my boyfriend, I eat all the time. I just don't gain weight. I can sit down and eat 45 macadamia's and did, and not gain a pound, plus dinner and other meals. It is just as hard to gain weight as it is to lose, I have been on both sides as well. Some people just have a higher metabolism. The same way with people who are overweight where their metabolism is messed up and they gain even when they don't eat much. I have a friend who is very overweight and he doesn't eat much at all. He has tried all the diets and has had no luck. I really think it is about what our body does with the food and our metabolism. Not about not liking food or not eating. This is a pet peeve for me. Bcs I have had several people over the years mock me bcs I will worry about being too thin. They say, " yeah right, I wish I had THAT problem. " But when I was 16 years old and reacted badly to an RA med my doc was trying me on, I got down to about 70 some odd pounds. It was pure hell. Nothing fit me. I looked dead. I almost did die! So when I get sick now, I get scared to death about losing weight. I " don't " like how I look in the mirror because I am too thin. Just because we are thin doesn't mean we are happy to be or are there by choice. ~Rainy Sue > June, > Sorry if I can't feel your pain about being too thin. I'd like to try it > sometime.
