Guest guest
, Thanks for letting the group know that such a list is available. I'm sorry you had a bad experience there. List owners of egroups can set any rules that they want because it is a private list. I also consider all messages here private and don't want our messages forwarded without permission. We all have to respect the privacy of others and forwarding a message without permission violates the author's privacy. I have very few rules here. As you know, off topic conversations are always welcome as long as they are marked in the subject line for those that only want arthritis information. Inflammatory remarks are not tolerated, nor is trying to profit from our illness. So I hope you understand where this list owner is coming from. She has reasons for her rules that you may not understand. I'm not sure why you were treated unkindly when asking for information, but I also try to keep in mind that ALL of us are sick and on medication and some days we are crankier than others. I hope that was the case with the other list owner. I'm glad to hear that the scolding was done in private and not on the list. No one here is like that, so feel free to ask any questions. If we can't answer them, we will try to direct you to someone that can. a ----- Original Message ----- From: /Celine Kossart <kozys@...> < egroups> Sent: Wednesday, January 17, 2001 2:00 PM Subject: Re: [ ] people who use disability > Hi all, > > There is a group specifically designed to help people deal with all the > bureaucracy with the SSA.
