Guest guest
It's bronchitis that I have, which I figured. Since I get it once a year, but twice this year. It went away on it's own last time. Guess this was just a stronger case of it. My doc called in some antibiotics for me. I will get them in the morning. I have to take them for 10 days and he said he saw no reason why I won't be able to make my Remicade appt on the 30th, as long as the antibiotics clear this up in time. I will have a few days in between antibiotics and Remicade to make sure I am well. Soon, I will be well! Hurray. ~Rainy Sue

Guest guest
Hi Tawny. I am so glad they got back to you. I wanted to let you know that my Rheumy had me go on " Caltrate " right from the beginning. It has 600mg of Calcium and 400mg of Vit D and I take one tablet twice daily. Perhaps that might help you as well. Maybe the B12 will help with your fatigue. I was told to take 1mg of Folic Acid every day EXCEPT for the day I take the MTX. If you don't get relief from that, ask them about Provigil. I don't know if its been approved for use with RA or FMS and of course its expensive if you don't have insurance like me (all the good ones are). Have a blessed weekend with your hubby. Hope you feel better soon..........Doreen > > Hey everyone, > > I hope everyone is having a great day. My rheumy finally called > today. Guest guest
Hi Doreen, I need to get some caltrate, next time I go to Walmart. That sounds great, Doreen! With all that, I should have enough Vit D in know time. I take the Vit D they prescribed to me, its really a high dose. I picked up my mtx today, and asked about the Folate. The nurse told me to get some, and take it along with the folic acid. It suppose to be OTC, but no such med. My pharmacist tried to help me, but no such luck. She told me to call the doc Monday, and then let her know, cause she is interested. I did get the B-12, so it should help. I usally take it, but I ran out a few months ago. I also take Folic acid every day, except mtx day. I would like to be on something to help the fatigue. I will ask my doctor the next visit, which is Nov. When I asked the nurse about putting me on something for fatigue, she flat out and lied. Telling me there was no med to help fatigue. My pharmacist told me they might not want to prescribe it, because it has a stimulant in it. Who knows, its the nurse that told me to pick up Folate too, I'm so mean. I just hate it, when they think you know nothing, so they just lie to you. You are right, the meds that are expensive are the good ones. The ones that people HAVE to take, no generic. Its ridiculous. I've been having terrible pain in my heel. I am going to the foot doctor next week. I was suppose to go last week, but I felt so bad with whatever is going on with my body, I couldn't go. I've been using my cane, but today its worse. My hubby left this evening. They called him this morning, we were still in bed. So, maybe he will get a few days next week, hope so. I don't like holding the fort down on my own. We live on a 40 acre farm, so you can imagine. It gets dark and scary at night. Hope you having a good weekend. > > > > Hey everyone, > > > > I hope everyone is having a great day. My rheumy finally called > > today.
