Guest guest
Hi , I wanted to drop you a note and let you know I am better today. My throat is a little sore but that is to be expected. My primary wants me to gain weight before they take the stent out. I hope I can hold on to this thing till the middle or end of February. The GI doctor has agreed to take it out on a Friday because of my school schedule. I think he is just being nice because he knows I am looking for a second opinion. I am going to go to another doctor, the one my daughter-in-laws father has recommended. My mom doesn't think she will take out the stent though. She feels this doctor may not want to be responsible for the other doctors work. I don't know but I am surely going to find out. How are you feeling? I know you have had a lot of problems with your teeth. I have always felt God did not do a good job on teeth, they cause too much trouble. Again thank you for all your help, I was really scarred. Hope today is a good day for you. Me Mom
Guest guest
, I'm so happy to hear that you are feeling better today. That's thanks enough! I agree with you about seeing the new GI doc and letting her decide whether she is willing to take out the stent. You won't know until you ask. I am certain that you would feel more comfortable under someone else's care (and I wouldn't worry as much about you either if you dumped the scary GI man). I'm going to the dentist Monday and the endodontist the week after that. It's not a normal week if I don't see one of them. The good news is: there is no pain in my mouth. Thank you so much for asking. At this point, I'm only going through the hassle of multi-step procedures to finish up that one area of my mouth. These three teeth have been the whole problem since October 2. Please rest. Are you eating better today? ----- Original Message ----- From: " Valued Compaq Customer " <ruf-caimi@...> < egroups> Sent: Thursday, January 11, 2001 7:11 AM Subject: [ ] better today. > Hi , > I wanted to drop you a note and let you know I am better today. Guest guest
Hi , I am eating food now, not a lot but more than I was able to before. I guess my brother with the new heart was right when he said I look like #######. I feel for all you have gone through with your teeth. They need to come out with something to put on them when we are children and they never give us any trouble????? Don't think that will happen. Hope you are having a good day. Guest guest
, Did the docs at U of P say that it was a normal result of what they believed happened that you should be feeling so bad for so long and that they expected that you should be having such trouble eating? I'm worried a lot about you still. I'm sorry that your brother said that you look like ****. As for the teeth: I recently read about a researcher who helped discover a mutation in a gene that was responsible for missing teeth in a particular family. She theorized that this is going to lead to more searches for the genes responsible for tooth formation and could lead to having teeth " grown " for us from our own cells in a laboratory which could be used to replace our defective teeth as needed. Isn't that cool? So, there is hope. Maybe not for my teeth, but, perhaps, for those of my children. Here's an article on it: http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,1282,33307,00.html Feel better please, ! ----- Original Message ----- From: " Ruf-Caimi " <ruf-caimi@...> < egroups> Sent: Friday, January 12, 2001 12:19 PM Subject: Re: [ ] better today. > Hi , > I am eating food now, not a lot but more than I was able to before.
