Janick,

my son jesse who has JRA with related lung disease. got his first flu

shot in the begining of nov and then spent the rest of nov and all of dec

recovering from all kinds of stuff ranging from ear infections to upper rep.

infection and had to go back on steroids for a short time to help him get

through it and he also went into a flare.

now this is not to say that everyone reacts that way. some people don't have

any reactions. I will not let jesse get another flu shot cause he was so

sick. i did it againist my better judgement. i was afraid it would overload

his system but the dr. insisted but i will not let it happen again.

good luck

shelly

Really? Wow. I wasn't even thinking of getting it. asked everyone who's healthy and young to not get it, either.

Thanks for sharing.

Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Flu vaccine

I've been getting a flu vaccine for quite a few years, since I'm ateacher. HOWEVER, I just spoke to Bill, Dr. Bihari's assistant. He saidthat Dr. B does not recommend flu vaccines for ANYONE. He thinks they'rea waste of time and they usually get the virus wrong.Just thought I'd share this.
