Hi ,

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Consists of accupuncture and herbology. I

am doing both. I broke out in hives, I think because of some medication I

was taking. I have had two accupuncture treatments and they are gone!!!!

Accupuncture is not a cure but works very well for pain control, good for

digestive problems, headaches and can help with some cronic conditions like

arthritis and FM to ease the pain. Well worth the time spent. Can be some

what uncomfortable at times if your " Chi " is very sensitive, mine is and it

" ouches " a bit now and then but is well worth it.

Any more questions???

I am just curious about your experience. I would love to try it. Does it cost

much? I am pretty sure my insurance won't cover that.

, If you go to the school over here in Portland, they have a sliding

scale, I am sure under the circumstances it wouldn't cost you much, maybe

16.00. i could help if you wanted to try it.

Connie,

Thank you for your first hand experience. I tried it several years ago,

but it didn't help me. My mom had tendonitis in her elbow and it cured it.

I've often though about trying it again with a different doctor. My Chi

must have been very sensitive too, because it HURT but only some of needles.

Others I felt NOTHING.

You would be surprised to know that many insurance companies cover

acupuncture. It may be worth a phone call to find out.

Cool. I will look into that for sure. Not right away though. I have stuff

going on. I want to try it for my stress in my neck and shoulders. I am

always so tense.

a,

Thanks, in April my insurance company will cover a portion of accupuncture as

well as massage, naturopathic and chiropractic.

What a blessing for me because I use them all.

Connie,

You are very lucky. I wish more insurance companies would cover such

care. It sure would be more cost effective to prevent illness and treat the

whole person. If yours is paying, maybe others will follow.
