Guest guest
Dear Alecia: -(Sorry I sent a blank email by mistake) Hi, you don't know me but I often read your posts. My name is Colletti. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis too. I belong to the RA group and a few others too. I know how you feel. I know you are tired of this illness and pain. I know I have my days too. It can be difficult. However, I don't agree with your Dr. about the narcotics. It is not true what he says about keeping people on long term. I have benn on narcotics at least 5 years. My Doctor has no plans of taking me off or cutting me down. Don't let him fool you. If you are in pain and he doesn't help, find someone who will. There was an article in all the papers not too long ago. It said that it is a law now that people with chronic pain do not have to suffer. You can be properly medicated. I guess he didn't read it. I wouldn't get down about your illness, it is your Dr. who is not treating you fairly. If the new pills he gave you don't help, let him know and fire him. If I can be of any help please email me at Anjillah@.... Sincerely, Colletti
Guest guest
We are a very under medicated soceity. I've been told that the body uses narcotics and/or pain pills differently if the body is in actual pain, as opposed to someone who uses the meds for recreational purposes.
