Guest guest
Hi : Sorry, you and your children have not been feeling well. There sure is a lot things going around. Everyone I know is sick or just got over being sick. I have not been posting too much, since, I have been sick too. I have a bladder infection which has been a real nuisance. I also have a fever with it too, this time. I have had them before. Has to do with my immune system being low and that I have a kidney transplant. I started Bactrim right away since I had some on hand. I spoke to my Doctor and he said to keep him posted and come and see him as soon as I am better. Well, take care. Sincerely, Colletti
Guest guest
Hi , Hope you and the kids are feeling better after your " bug's life " ....My sister & her daughter are both battling the " sniffies " . Even on the Enbrel,I have somehow managed to escape going to an iron lung with all the colds & flu I was exposed to during the holidays even with the deep freeze we had. However,I am paying for it now with my joints. Mainly, my hands, back & my new knee which continues to swell with fluid & is extremely painful. The doctor put cortisone directly into what used to be the knee joint in an attempt to " calm down the irritation " To this date,I am still iritated. I am also losing some movement in that new knee. I see the ortho is 2 weeks. He says that if this fails, he will need to go in with an arthroscope. Not a very happy camper about that. Am trying to return to work, 2 days one week, 3 days another week.......not very dependable. I am now filling out the paperwork for long term disability thru my employer. My employer has been very understanding about this, but I don't want to push my luck, seeing how I am the only one bringing home the bacon in my house. My bacon is fastly turning to tube steaks (hot dogs) & probably bologne not too much longer after that. My husband still hasn't found a job yet, so tension is like something we could cut for dessert everynight............ My rheumy gave me an injection of methylprednisolone on Wednesday night, with some relief. I also am suppose to start MTX along with the enbrel but to stop the enbrel for 2 weeks. We were his last patient on a very long day for the dr, so he wasn't real keen on explanations....Left the MTX rx at walgreens on Wednesday, & it won't be in until Monday, gee good thing it is not a life sustaining drug. Perhaps if they didn't put so much money into building walgreens on every corner, they could purchase more stockable medication. OOOH, there goes my snippy pants again.LOL How are those icicle??????have they melted yet or are they holding out for spring???? Can you see pavement yet from the snow yet or is that the same thing as the icicles?????I have kept my icicle lights up & lit along the back fence by the pool in addition to my Christmas deer. It kinda makes me feel like it is a little bit of winter in sunny south florida. I guess you can take the girl out of Chicago, but can't take the Chicago out of the girl...LOL Please take very good care of yourself & the kids. I have missed our chats. Gentle angel hugs, Debs in FL

Guest guest
Dear MeMom : Hi, yes I heard we are getting some snow in the morning too. I live in Linden, N.J. Where do you live? I am feeling better, but I have trouble walking because of my back. I have several problems with my back. Spinal Stenosis, and Osteoporosis, to name two. I also get short of breath easily since I have Asthma which the RA makes worse. However, I am better since I started the singulaire. I just do the best I can. I don't work. I was taking some classes to get my BSN. I am a nurse. I haven't worked in 4 years but I did want to get my BSN. I have a few classes to go to finish. I had to stop for a while. I hope I can go back by the summer. I think it is great that you are going to school. You work too, don't you? How do you do it? Is it difficult? It must be. I pray for you to have an easier time. You have been through enough. I am glad you are home. Take care. Sincerely, Anjillah@...
Guest guest
Hi , I live in Bucks County, Pa.. We got a little snow this morning. I didn't realize you had so many medical problems. You were going to school, hope you can go back. I really enjoy school, I think it has been my life saver. I hope to graduate in June with my degree in Historic Preservation, and stay on and work on my Liberal Arts Degree. It is almost finished about six classes to go. I will stay on with HP, as I have made many friends and there are classes I would like to take later. I lost my job to a neck injury and have been home for six years. At the time I loved my job but it just wasn't meant to be. I couldn't work and go to school. That would require a much smarter person than I am. Hope you have a good day, Me Mom ---------- > From: ANJILLAH@... > > Subject: Re: [ ] Better Days > Date: Monday, March 26, 2001 2:14 AM > > Dear MeMom : > Hi, yes I heard we are getting some snow in the morning too. Guest guest
Hey , You are too funny, its true though. I pull my grades off with homework and projects. I am very bad at test, I actually look for classes that center around projects and homework. I can mess up a multiple choice test. How did the b-day go??????? Guest guest
Dear MeMom : Hi, how are you doing today? I had to write today and tell you I have only 6 classes left too. I know I have to get back to school. I miss it. It was good for me too. I had to stop though. Money got a little tight too. However, I hope to get back this summer. Guest guest
, I'm glad that you are feeling better and that the singular is helping your asthma. I hope you can go back to school one day and take the classes you need. I enjoy school too, and hope I can go back this summer. It's not in my budget either. My daughter is a junior, so she only has one more year and hopefully it will be my turn for college money. Don't you just love these record breaking low temps we've been having? Just when we think spring is here, we get these temps and snow on top of it! hugs, a ----- Original Message ----- From: ANJILLAH@... Guest guest
Hi , Did you ever think about distant learning classes. I think most colleges have then. a knows more about this than I do. I applied for financial aid through the dept. of students with disabilities. You may want to try this, they are very helpful. I am not sure if I am taking summer classes or not. I may have to hold off, not sure yet. I am doing okay, wish I felt more like eating. I hope once the stent is in I can eat more. Never thought I would be in a position of being too thin. Guess I should enjoy it while it last. My big fear now is I will balloon up once I can eat more. Well that is a worry for tomorrow. Hope you are having a good night, Me Mom ---------- > From: ANJILLAH@... > > Subject: Re: [ ] Better Days > Date: Tuesday, March 27, 2001 10:40 AM > > Dear MeMom : > Hi, how are you doing today?
