They tell me my liver is also enlarged and it is due to something called a fatty liver. Yet, I try to watch my diet and nothing happens. I think I need a liver specialist, not just a GI specialist. I think they call them nephrologists. I am feeling quite well so was very shocked and upset to hear about my results. Anyway, tomorrow my Rheumies nurse will call with my specialist appointment and then onward to the next barage of tests. The one I know they will do is the biopsy which I had done in Spring and I hate the most. It hurts so so much and I cringe when I think about it. They had to go in my belly with a needle THREE times in order to get a spcimen. By the third time I was crying plus they used meds for pain and anxiety. I told Ed if they do that test again that he has to be in the room with me holding my hand. He reluctantly said ok. I told him he did not have to watch, just hold my hand. Yiks!!!!!
