Tragedy hits close to home

I just read an email from a high school friend and found

out that a husband of a friend of mine from high school

was one of the men who fought the terrorists on the

flight that crashed in PA. She was on Dateline this

wknd or last wk, which I missed. It is so shocking. I

haven't checked my email in days, and so this is all

news to me. I'm just shocked, though. I grew up in the

NY/NJ area, and spent so much time in NYC, having been

in the Twin Towers many, many times. I know that many

high school friends lived and worked in NYC. I have to

wonder if there were other people I know involved in the

tragedy. I know that I will be making some phone calls.
