She can check out the benzo group. They help people withdraw from these type of drugs (benzodiazepines.) And of course there is the Withdrawal and Recovery group on as well. Also, she can google the Ashton Manual. There is a ton of advice there which is useful, including how to switch over to Valium, which is generally easier to wean. Take care, and good luck, B.C.
