thanks Terry, I was in that group for awhile, I could only afford a couple of

nutritional supplements because of my limited finances, it's been just over a

year now that I quit all the meds and physically I am better, but emotionally

not so good,, Sandy

Re: SSRI survivors

I wouldn't say that this group is just for fighting against the

monsters-that-be. We also provide support to each other and many of our members

are also survivors. However, there is another group that might fit your needs

better. But still stay with us; we need all the help and members we can get.

Your story can provide us with additional information that we use in our

arguments. Your struggles can help others avoid the same. The other group is:

Withdrawal_and_Recovery/

Which is wonderful and admirable, but does anyone know of a group that

Because I was actually put on these drugs, and these drugs completely

destroyed my life.

I need to find a group that discuses the problems we continue to endure

because of these drugs, and the deception and blame put on us patients

I feel like it is just too late for me, that I was just a casualty of

this war and sorry but nothing can be done now. It's too late in the

game and too much water under the bridge. The damage has been done, and

because of the extent of it, is irreparable.

Thanks Steph, I appreciate the feeback and many times I do feel proud that I

climbed out of the hole. It gives me a unique perspective on this entire issue.

I went from being a nurse who passed out these drugs like candy, thinking I was

doing good. Then I become a victim. Then to become a survivor. Now on to be a

crusader. Thanks again for writing.

Only a pleasure . Thanks to YOU! It takes a special person to go

through your experiences and then to still find it in your heart to

think about others. Simply just continuing with your own life,

would've been so much easier.

Re: SSRI survivors

Don't hang out with your mother so much if she makes you feel bad. My mother

was getting so upset from the news I had her quit for a couple of weeks and she

felt much better. Watching what you eat could include who you hang out with and

what you read or watch on TV too.

I think my mother is ashamed of me because I never managed to marry a rich
