Guest guest
Bless you Stella, From what I gather Evidence Based means the opinions gathered from dealing with a specific subject. You have a doctor that treats rabies and from observation comes up with conclusions that work or appear to work. This is evidence based. The fact that it's observed is only as good as the observer and you have probably figured out my views on any observers in the field of mental health by now My prayers and thoughts are with you and I will see if I can get some contacts to show up for you. Best, Jim What does that mean? Does that mean that there is supposed to be results that show the treatment worked or is it doublespeak? I would also like to invite anyone in the Seattle area to my trial that begins Thursday. The courts are open in Washington State. The reason they are terminating my parental rights is because I they say I am mentally ill (bipolar and borderline personality disorder). I have substantial evidence saying I am not, but I was diagnosed BD-II after I quit celexa. And borderline because I don't believe I am bipolar (well there is a lot more to that, but I have been combative in an adversarial process) I would appreciate a show of support. Guest guest
Would you know that my name on the Mind Freedom registry and a Caplan's site are being used against me? kid you not! Anyway, Yesterday was the first day, next Thursday we go at it again and then we resume the week of May 8th to finish up. I was asking about Evidence based because it seems to be the new buzz word around the child welfare reform compromises that the states are making. That is a good explanation. I am not sure how it will work... perhaps it is also a PR type movement in the psych communities to lend more credibility to their " science " . I am just trying to figure out if it good or not... I think that probably " better " but not there, would be more accurate. Stella Farias -Secretary Washington Families United Office Address 1063 S. Guest guest
I know they will use anything against you. Evidence Based IS the new PR Slogan for psychobabble. It's been around for a few years. Another slogan is Metal illness stigma, which is a real thing but I think being pushed to provide more " services " and cash to the industry. Along with the new push for infant mental illness and screening everyone in primary care settings ie your doctor's office we are about to go into a drugged up dark age if we're not careful.
