I've been trying to get into the Ankinria (sp) clinical study for a long time, and for one reason or another I never got past the screening process. My RD is the RD involved in the study in my area. He really wants me to do this because nothing else we try has worked so far. He says the results are fantastic for those who get the drug. It is a double blind study. So yes there is a 50-50 chance that I will get a placebo for the first 6 months. After that everyone gets drug. It is a 3 year study. Hopefully it will be approved before that. I passed all of the test except for the two mentioned. I was just joking about the pregnancy test (God wouldn't do that to me, pleeeeease).
