Guest guest
Only a can answer this one fully, but I believe her reports to date have been very encouraging, Terry. I noticed that you haven't posted for a long time. I'm sorry that your hands are bothering you so much. Have you contacted your doctor and asked what can be done? Happy that you didn't leave us. ----- Original Message ----- From: <tperrella@...> < egroups> Sent: Monday, December 18, 2000 3:54 PM Subject: [ ] a > Does anyone know how a's new treatment is going? Guest guest
I'm not sure what to do anymore. I'm still on celebrex and arava but am getting worse. Twice this week it's been too painful to use my hands. Not good when you program computers for a living. Thought I'd start practicing with my toes or a pencil in my mouth :>) Well, you know we just find other ways when one doesn't work! Keep us posted on how your treatments are going. I'm open to anything that keeps me using my hands and walking. Ohio - Terry
Guest guest
Terry - Ohio Sorry the Arava isn't working for you. I hope you can find something to help you soon. Trust me I know what you are going through. Happy Holidays. Tery - FL
Guest guest
Terry, Have you tried the paraffin wax on your hands? Many people swear by the hot wax treatments. It's got to be so difficult to be a computer programmer with RA affecting your hands. Have you tried any voice programs? If you feel you're getting worse, you may need different meds. Sometimes it is difficult to find the right meds for you. I hope you get some relief. Celebrex did nothing for me. a ----- Original Message ----- From: <tperrella@...> < egroups> Sent: Friday, December 22, 2000 6:30 AM Subject: [ ] Re: a > I'm not sure what to do anymore. Guest guest
, Online classes aren't bad if you can follow instructions by reading. If that is what you have to do until you feel better, it's a good option. I hope you are able to keep up the schedule, especially with such a strict teacher! Sorry you're not feeling good again. I sure wish the doctors would find out why. I still feel pretty crappy myself. a ----- Original Message ----- From: Ruf-Caimi <ruf-caimi@...> < egroups> Sent: Wednesday, January 24, 2001 5:55 PM Subject: [ ] a > Hi a, > Well I have finished the first week of school.
