Is there any way you can travel to the US for explant? I just don't

know anyone in Canada, although one of our memebers Jackie had hers

done there, she has not posted in awhile but I know she was pleased.

Jackie are you out there we need ya!

I will keep on looking for her for you.....Patty do you know any

other canadian resources?

We've got excellent references for Canada.

First, there is the Canadian Connection website

Dr. Pierre Blais is our champion there, and he may be able to give

references to some good explant doctors. He is the leading expert on failed

medical devices in Canada.

You can call him--he is so wonderful, so humble, he WILL talk to you. He

even picks up the phone himself.

Hope this helps you get the ball rolling! From what I hear, Canadian

insurance should be able to pay for this surgery.
