While we are all on subject of " silly " . How about a blast from the past.

How about the " Realization that I was OLD "

The day I realized that I was indeed OLD was:

The year was 1988, I had brought my 15 year old daughter to the local

convenience store to buy some feminine protection.

When she returned to the car with her bag and got in, I said, " You girls

don't know how lucky you are in this day and time. "

" How do you figure that? " she asked.

" It was just awful having to wear those old SANITARY BELTS to hold your

Kotex, they always left a line around your butt and showed a fat line

through your skirt. "

She was silent for a few seconds, thinking... then as she threw her box

of TAMPAX in the back seat she said, " what's a KOTEX? "

~sign~...I felt like the only person alive who remembered SANITARY

BELTS!!!

I am with the woman comedian who said something to the effect (I forget

exactly)

" Women spend half their life pulling their panties OUT of their

crotch... why would they pay good money to PUT them there??? "

Hi,

I had to comment on the recent dialog regarding panties. I have never tried

a thong, but I spent my life feeling like I wore them until I discovered

Jockey brand. (No, I am not in advertising)! Ha!

LOLOLOL that was cute! She actually bought tampons lolol. Well sorry to say I

never wore sanitary belts, but do remember the big pads and feeling like

everyone could see it. I got into tampons as soon as I learned about them

lol. Some days I wish I could find one of those sanitary belts and pads

though. For night use when I am cramping soooooo bad.

The day I realized that I was indeed OLD was:

hmmm let me think. I think I have more instances of I lived a very sheltered

life. I am 34 goin on 35 next month, and my new hubby just turned 30. He will

be talking about a musical group or band and I will say WHO? this bad would

be from my time too lololol. So it's not that I was old, but that I truely

led a sheltered life. I married at just turning 18 to a guy 5 years older.

Immediately I was shut out from the world. Not just music, but friends,

family, etc. 15 years of it. So I lost a lot of years and missed out on more.

So I'm hoping I won't come to the day I realize I am old, until grandkids

maybe lol, because it seems I grew up with my 12 yr old daughter. No wonder

we are so close lolol.

FOR A MINUTE THERE I FORGOT WHAT IT WAS I WAS WRITING ABOUT. THE COMPARISON

OF A SUMA WRESTLER WAS GOOD, I CAN RELATE , BETWEEN THE CRAVINGS, NOT

WANTING TO EAT, OR ONLY WANTING THINGS LIKE CANDY, ALL BECAUSE OF MEDICATION

SIDE EFFECTS. THATS WHERE I WANT TO PUT THE BLAME. I WROTE YOU REGARDING

THE THONG UNDERWEAR. I BOUGHT MY DAUGHTER HER FIRST PAIR AT THE AGE OF 12,

SHE LOVE THEM. ME , I SPEND TO MUCH TIME TRYING TO KEEP THAT OUT OF THERE.

I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND THAT LIKES THEM TOO. I DON'T UNDERSTAND. MY DAUGHTER

IS NOW 21. AND HAS A 2 YEAR LITTLE BOY. THE LIGHT OF OUR LIVES. JOYCE.

All this thong talk is cracking me up - pun intended! I wear them too - you

do just forget about them. My underwear used to creep up there anyway and

then there'd be all that material - now just a small amount that you barely

notice =)

Keep smiling!!
