Guest guest
I married an LDS man are you kidding, we have what is common with LDS people, complete food stock, water supply, antibiotics, and many many other homeopathic meds, my inlaws do as well, so I feel pretty good about that, I used to make fun of the LDS and there preoccupation with food storage.....I am not laughing anymore. I feel safe in this part of the country however we do have the inel(idaho national engineering laboratory) near to us in the dessert here in Idaho and it is a nuclear place so there is some worry about that. I still am glad to be here! glad your back Patty, how was your weekend! Guest guest
Hi Everybody, I am having a hard time catching up on our corporate books and emails, so it may be awhile before I get back to some of these posts. , thanks for asking about my weekend! We had a really nice time. We needed to get away, so we went to northern Arizona, checked into a hotel for a couple nights and did some wandering around in the desert! We had an awesome time on the Hopi Reservation. We headed to the First Mesa, where we were lucky enough to see some ceremonial Indian dancing. Normally, white men are not allowed to watch it, and definitely not to photograph it, but this nice old indian man invited us into his home and through the back door to watch the dance. It was really interesting. We also bought a couple kachina dolls to add to our collection, which was the main reason for our trip up there. My husband and I started our collection when we were married, and we have 11 now. (11 years married!) The Hopi indians at the top of the mesa are the nicest people I have ever met. They live so primitively. Every time I go there I am still in awe of the simplicity of their lives, and how willing they are to let you come into their little huts to chat. Also went to Oak Creek Canyon and Slide rock, where the scenery is so awesome and beautiful. I fell into the water, too, oh boy was it cold! We went to see the leaves changing colors, and we were a little early in the canyon, but on the San Francisco peaks, there was already snow and some pretty golden hues mixed in the tree tops. Gorgeous. It was nice to get away. I felt great! Not even any foot pain and I was eating like a pig. I always seem to feel so good when we are away from Vegas...hmmm, wonder why?? I was even on my time of the month, and it didn't phase me in the least. Now that I am back home, my head has been a little screwy, but not nearly as bad as it used to get. All in all, I have to say that I think I have turned a big corner for the better in the last 6 months as far as my health goes. I have so many good days now that the bad days are almost distant memories. And I am not as vigilant with my supplements as I used to be. Maybe it was the ozonated water and fasting? I did notice during the worst of the terrorist attack week that my depression had me messed up for a day or so. So, just gotta watch that stress and stay as happy as can be! I am doing a grape cure diet too this week, and just basically getting rid of all the crap that I ate over the weekend. Just to be on the safe side, of course! God knows I don't want any repeats of that horrible brain fog.
