Guest guest
You are contradicting yourself here...you've already shown interest in funding...and I hace absolutely no problem with that. " Sam it is clear from this that Lord Hunt is willing to consider funding of support groups which is something as list owner of SSRI Crusaders & a moderator of both Withdrawal & Recovery & Prozacawareness groups I would personally welcome. " Perhaps one day you will find it in your hardened heart to thank Janice for taking the initiative in fighting for aid, for a problem that should be tackled by government . Allowing the druglords to manipulate the MHRA, resulting in the pathetic control of meds, and the destruction of countless lives in the process, is after all a problem they created. May all the groups live long and grow and grow. May all receive funding if they deserve it. We are after all fighting companies worth billions. I don't think who came first or whatever is really relevant is it? As for the " beavering " ...surely that does not mean wasting precious energy on infighting now does it? Anger if used constructively can be invaluable, but misdirected anger is counter productive. Dwell on your hate for the lawyers if you must, it is your health it is affecting not mine. I don't care about them. Have never met them and never will. But stop confusing those old issues with the present day SUG. Enough energy wasted for one day. I'll leave it there now. > > > > > > > > > > Look it's on letter headed paper of lawyer. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > http://www.seroxatusergroup.org.uk/Documents/newsletterissue1.pdf > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > " Hugh will prime the group & continue to support > it .... Guest guest
Dear , thankyou for your constructive reply to my genuine post. I had no idea of the vitriol involved within the anti-SSRI stable. I am a little taken aback. Small things, like you putting my name in " inverted commas " as if I wasnt a genuine person is a little disconcerting. I was born with that name, that is my genuine name, not a Nom de Plume. I have gone under that name all my life, and if you look in the local directory for the last twnety years you will see I am bone fide. This petty undermining doesnt do you any justice. I am just stating my case, come here for the first time, am in need of meeting like minded people and have a story to tell, and I get all this sh*t. What am I supposed to think? To answer your question: am I aggrevied that I was prescribed Citalopram not another more widely known SSRI............ er, no. You insult my intelligence to even suggest it. I am educated in chemistry, I know the similarities and understand the science. Also, I dont buy Fairy Liquid because it has a commonly known brand name. OK? If it washes the dishes its ok with me. If it doesnt and causes me to be seriously ill, then its not. Simple. Guest guest
You use the word " bogus " . As in not genuine. Please quantify and explain to us, me , all of us, in which form the SUG is " bogus " . I would be fascinated and obliged to know. Are they not then genuine? Is she not then a woman married to a man who has bee very negatively affected by SSRI's? I was shamed by the posting that someone put, that she had three cleaning jobs. As if this was a way of demeaning her. That was totally out of order. I have cleaned to earn money, I have served in in deli too, not much difference. To label women for the menial jobls they will sometimes do to make ends meet and then slate them for it is a little below the belt I think. That lady has stood by her man for a long time. She is intelligent and makes a case. Yes she hob-nobs with whoever (the aristocracy) to get her point across, so would I, and so should you too. Take your narrow minded unhelpful petty attitude elsewhere.I think we should just stop this childish infighting and get on with the main job. The drugs companies. Anyone??? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Look it's on letter headed paper of lawyer. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > http://www.seroxatusergroup.org.uk/Documents/newsletterissue1.pdf > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > " Hugh will prime the group & continue to support > > > it .... Guest guest
No, Alfred is not my non de plume. Any regular on this site knows I sign my name at bottom when I'm chatting to someone new...That is Steph for Stephnie. Alfred is my husband's name and this as this is his account.
