Guest guest
Hello Everybody: I just went through 72 e-mails. I have been off-line for a day or two. I am up to my eye balls in family problems (mom and dad) and my own health problems. However, I got some things in place for mom and dad yesterday via the telephone. Social Services at the hospital, Cardiac Rehab and Home Services are all involved and aware that mom and dad are having problems handling things on their own. Thus, we are getting some help for them. It is amazing what only a few phone calls can do to help the situation. Poor mom was getting overwhelmed with taking care of everything. She has been at a loss since I have been unable to get there to help her. Dad bucks her all the time and it gets very frustrating for her. I had a few talks with him yesterday about THINGS. Hopefully we are on the right path. My stomach is finally settling down and I think the drugs are out of my system. What an awful nightmare. Not only did I feel physically ill, but my head was feeling like it was out in orbit somewhere. And, my body (nervous system) was really reacting to all the radical changes happening. I think I am settled down now and am able to get some sleep. As I read all of the posts, I think how very sad it is that we are all going through such hard times right now. There is our physical pain and our emotional pain to deal with. Losses have been very tragic. My heart goes out to each of you. It always seems that at this very special time of the year, we should be experiencing joy but hardship has no time barriers. I am praying hard that we all can have a joyous Christmas and that the New Year brings us new found hope for a better 2001. You are all very special to me and right now I cannot respond to each of you individually, but you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care of yourselves. Much Love and Blessings, Jeannette
