Caren, (please excuse me if some words are spelled wrong-

-I have my contacts out),

Your lab results are almost exactly similar to mine.

Your lab results are normal, but on the low end of

normal (for your thyroid). Your cholesterol is slighly

elevated, but the only way to know for sure if it truly

is elevated is to do a fasting profile. Because any

foods you ate prior to that lab draw is obviously going

to increase your cholesterol. But if it is a fasting

test, then yes, your cholesterol is slightly elevated.

However, your HDL is high and that is your good

cholesterol, whereas your LDL cholesterol is the bad

cholesterol. Your range is good, so I'd say that your

cholesterol looks good. Many times, if your thyroid is

borderline hypo, this can cause an increase in

cholesterol. My suggestion to you would be to not worry

and to have your labs rechecked in maybe 3-6 months.

Hi girl and yes I am off the coffee and I was so addicted too, but

coffee is not as big here in Idaho as in Seattle, here the population

is high LDS they don't drink coffee, my husband is LDS but never got

on me about coffee, it was something I decided it was time to

eliminate from my life. Too many toxins and I am in general just

trying to clean my diet up, it is tough, and I agree I will miss it,

once you get past the first few days of quitting it gets better and

now I drink tea or hot chocolate for a hot drink in the am, I know

the chocolate is probably not that much better, but caffeine is bad

for you.

My husband said to tell you if you really want to go to Uruagay he

can help you with arrangements and have someone pick you up at the

airport in Montevideo as that is the only airport there and then he

could line you up with a hotel and everything so let me know if you

want to go, he has, as I stated in my other post, lived there are

traveled extensively there in his business and he knows the lay of

the land and has associates there that would help you, now wouldn't

it be fun if we could all go together!

HA HA HA

we will meet one of these days!

Love ya

PS i am off the grape fast and feeling ok, I lost 5 pounds anyhow

Hey !

I never saw the post that your hubby had lived in

Uruguay!! How neat. I had called about airfare when I

was in Denver and to fly from Denver into Montevideo and

then on to Punta del Esta, it would cost about $2800,

which is a lot less than I expected. Maybe you and I

should plan a trip down there and meet that way!!! I'm

not kidding. It would be fun.
