You've got me laughing now. If you can't dx it, how can you have it? You are making no sense at all. An illness is defined as diagnosable, and mental illness are not that. Maybe you just have poor coping skills, or eat a lot of sugar and other processed crap, maybe you are just lazy and don't exercise (they already know that exercise works better than drugs on depression), but to say you have an illness is ludicrous. What IS the illness then? And how is it defined if not by tests? Because some quack said so????? ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
Please don't scare the person away. They came her for help.So did I and thankfully I got it and I know I wasn't depressed. but they convinced me I was. Something sad, hurtful was happening to a friend and I felt it, I felt helpless. Then when overdosed on it......................just give her more. I came off my way in my time and I feel wonderful. I did these two things. One before the overdose and the other a week or so before the last dose. Color and art don't lie. I felt my whole head was on fire. I even added rain to stop the pain. What stopped it was making a decision to get off it.. The drugs should be outlawed but not all of us are lucky enough to know it yet. I am blind ccing this to someone as a reminder of something......to keep a friend from being treated with lobotomy in a bottle. We all get upset but it doesn't mean we should use these drugs. Now I hear they are being pushed to the elderly because we wised up so our money is no good. Sue You've got me laughing now. If you can't dx it, how can you have it? You are making no sense at all. Once again & it is only my opinion the meds have helped me far more then they've hurt me!!!!!! But what are you doing here????? That's my question? So what if mental illness wasn't covered by insurance? If you've been so helped by the psychiatric community what the hell are you doing on this board? Guest guest
Actually I would like to go back there. No one will be shoving $1000 pills in your face. Shrinks won't be coming out of med schools by the boat loads. Works for me. Guest guest
Ahhhh yes, but then all the doctors wouldn't get free cruises, ski trip, world travel. I just wish that people could accept that some " mental illness " are caused by imbalances that can be cured easily and naturally. But I guess that is just to hard for a dtr to figure out. Easier to just prescribe pills we can get addicted to. Hey, Bush Supporters: Embarrassed Yet? ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
