Guest guest
A lot of genuine, physical illnesses have a psychiatric component ie. it's common to feel a lot of anxiety if you're having chest pains or to feel anxious and paranoid if you've got an infection in your brain. Sounds to me like what's gonna start happening is that the physical CAUSE of the psychiatric symptoms are gonna be ignored so we have a 'happy' (read doped) patient who is happy right up till the undiagnosed infection kills them. Guest guest
This is exactly what I've been saying since the beginning. Because of all the corruption within the medical community, which begins with science, we simply can't continue to build on what we supposedly know to be fact any longer. How can scientist build on false facts? Any building is then also false. That's why we have so many flawed medical tests. Therefore, even if a doctor should try to diagnose a true medical illness as cause for psychiatric symptoms, chances are a flawed test will give a false negative which in turns tells the doctor there is no medical reason for the feelings of anxiety, depression, etc. It seems to me the only way to fix this problem is to go back about 20 years and start again. But I agree it would help if doctors would at least try to find a medical cause before resorting to prescribing psychotropics. > > > > A lot of genuine, physical illnesses have a psychiatric component ie. > it's common to feel a lot of anxiety if you're having chest pains or to > feel anxious and paranoid if you've got an infection in your brain. > > Sounds to me like what's gonna start happening is that the physical > CAUSE of the psychiatric symptoms are gonna be ignored so we have > a 'happy' (read doped) patient who is happy right up till the > undiagnosed infection kills them. >

Guest guest
This is kinda off topic but it reminds me of a t.v. commercial for a popular pain reliever/head ache pill I saw. In the ad, it showed kids playing and basically said give this to your child when they have a fever and they can play longer. And I thought, what if your kid has a fever because they've got Strep throat? Should they really be playing if they have a dangerous bacterial infection? And secondly I thought: there's nothing anti bacterial about this head ache pill, how can it possibly bring down a fever?
