Guest guest
Someone told my father a few days ago that there were some drugs out there for OCD that didn't harm you to take them (like I'm ever going to believe that!). Anyway, I wasn't familiar with these drugs and was surprised as I thought the only thing they ever prescribed for OCD were the SSRI's. I'm not sure if I've got the spelling right on these drugs as it was hard to read this doctor's hand writing, but he wrote them down on a slip of paper for me to see. He has written down two drugs that appear to be: 1. Xanax 2. Axrain or Atrain or something like that. Anyone familiar with what these drugs may be? While a few drugs save lives, by and large the drugs prescribed by psychiatrists and the labels applied to justify them are unnecessary at best and in most cases, the manipulations of an industry that must keep creating new drugs in order to remain profitable. OCD is a disorder caused by nutritional disorder or deficiency and is easily corrected. Generally, people with OCD respond nicely to methonine, SAMe, calcium, magnesium, B-6, Inositol, TMG, and zinc. Most people with OCD get worse if given supplements of DMAE, choline, copper, or folic acid. If a person is overmethylated they will respond poorly to inositol and TMG. How do you know if a person is overmethylated? You could get an expensive lab test or you could give them 200 mg. of inositol. If they get tense from it they are overmethylated and should not take this or TMG. Regards, Do not follow where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Guest guest
Thanks, . This is very helpful. As I said, I didn't for a minute believe there was a helpful drug out there especially for mental disturbances. From what I've seen, doctors, educated by the pharm companies, have no idea how to handle a mental disorder. They seem only to know how to create them.
