NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - People infected with the hepatitis C virus risk

developing liver cancer, and now Japanese researchers have identified several

factors that increase that risk. Being male, advancing age, high liver enzyme

levels and low cholesterol levels all increase the likelihood of liver cancer

occurring in someone with hepatitis C but no current symptoms, they report.

Tuesday of each month at Northside Baptist Church, 4100 N. t, Room 121B.

Use the east door entrance on the south side of the Mize building.

partner for the Hepatitis C drug Zadaxin, has begun enrolling patients infected

with in a European phase III clinical trial.
