Guest guest
Just picked up the CT scan report from last week, on my thoracic/cervical spine. It says: <<Multiaxial as well as reformatted sagittal and coronal images are evaluated. The vertebral height is maintained. Small osteophytic spurs are present. The disk spaces are minimally diminished in height. There is no osseous compromise of the spinal canal. Impression: No acute process.>> What does all this mean? It did not even say exactly where the spurs were present; does that imply they are numerous/common or what? The interesting thing is, the recent MRI done on the spine showed multi-level mild degeneration and herniations (paracentral and central) on T7-T8, and T8-T9. And that MRI was not considered to be " of good quality " by either the pain management specialist nor my neurosurgeon. But they did not find anything noteworthy about the thoracic problems on this CT at all??? Debbie Dahl Oklahoma

Guest guest
Well to I understand it to say that it is within normal limits. The spurs are just what it says small. Basically they didnt fine anything to be concerned about. Hugs, Babs
