We have been here for 26 years, raised all our kids here, for the most part. My husband is the horseman. I am just a helper, when I can. We breed them. We don't do any training. We have six broodmares, and always some babies and yearlings, until the sales, and the year's crop takes their place. He loves it, but we are getting old. He is almost 65 and I am almost 60, and the work is hard, and we have had our share of tradgedy and sickness. You might say we take turns being sick, and the other one has all the work to do. It is very hard sometimes. He knows all the names you mentioned, especially the Dorignacs. Their farm was not far from here, about 15 miles, I guess. I have been off of treatment for 2 years, but the terrible headaches continued, just like on treatment. I have been to accupuncture, reflexology, had all the tests, and nothing helped. I went to two neurologists and the last one gave me the oxy, telling me it would be no problem to wean myself off. I had joint problems, swelling and pain and had to get off. It was a two week nightmare. I am getting stronger now, but feel like I have been run over by a truck. Surprisingly my headaches are not so bad. Maybe something has changed inside and they won't be so bad. From now on my medication will consist of ibuprofen, help or not. I have learned my lesson. Sorry to be so long winded, but sometimes it is difficult to cram so many thoughts into a few lines. I am glad you are back with the group. I missed you, and read the posts every day.
