Here are some of the replies I have gotten so far to my request for help

with the foot pain on Ilena's group:

YES sounds like the foot problem lots of the ladies get ---and myself

included===I tell my kids it feels like someone beat my feet on the

bottoms with a bat ----just pain when i have been on my feet too long or

walked too far ==it hurts ---like my shoes are FULL OF MARBLES ---the drs

have found balls of granulomas ----just like a tiny marble that gets

coated with this granuloma material ----its just those little lumps but

they do cause pain -----one lady had them removed and really suprised

her doctor -----there is some medical info out there somewhere ---maybe

some of the ladies ====can give you some info ---its common and its just

one more of the myriad of symptoms we go thru ====good luck ==

I am not a doctor, so cannot say what this is for sure. I have had this now

for quite some time. It was diagnosed as plantar fascitis. If it is indeed

that, the doctor will probably start out prescribing prescription non

steroidal anti-inflammatories. These did not work for me however.

One other thing that I found really seemed to help a lot was to wear a

comfortable pair of shoes (sandals in my case) with about a 2 1/2 inch heel.

I was shocked at how much relief I got as a result of shifting the weight to

another area of my feet. I have a sack full of custom made padded orthotics

and NONE of them helped at all. If you try this, be sure they are very

comfortable. I assume this allows the part that is inflammed to heal because

the pressure is in a different place.

The place that it hurts for me is in front of my heel in the center of the

foot, but right up next to the front of the heel. If this is what you have,

one doctor told me he had seen several implanted women with this. You would

think someone would put all of these " co-incidences " together, wouldn't you?

If you haven't seen a doctor, you might want to consider seeing one.

I am on Prednisone and pain medication for my systemic symptoms. This helps

the feet some, but I also need to lose weight which will also help. One

doctor had me stand on a step with my heels hanging over the edge, stand on

tiptoes and then lower my heels to the step below (up and down several

times). Supposedly this will help. I can't say for sure it did, but anyway,

you may want to try it...

I have had the exact same kind of foot pain.........mine is in both

heels and in the morning I can hardly walk. Can you pass along to me

anything you hear about it. I had a ruptured implant which I had them

removed nearly two years ago

Thanks.

I have had the pain in my feet ---- mainly my left foot - but after a while

it has moved further towards the front of the foot, but behind the little

toe -- sounds crazy, doesn't it??? I put those sponge things in my shoes

(flats)...I do a lot of walking, and need as much cushioning as I can get.

Some of my non- implant friends also get " spurs " in their heels --- so

maybe the best thing you can do is watch and see if they move, or stay in

the same location. There is a surgery to remove the spurs, if that is what

it is...but I think you'd want to try other things first..There is something

also called " fascitis " , which one friend has, and there are exercises to do

to improve that.

Did you go to a podiatrist?? I have never talked to a doctor about mine ---

I'm only 16 months past explant - mine were silicone gel, so I had a lot

more of the silicone than you would have had - so I am sort of playing the

waiting game to see what develops next...

Good luck - hope your feet get better!

I have been taking " FLAX SEED OIL " capsules for 6 months now. I take 3 - 4

a

day. It takes about 2 or 3 MONTHS for them to begin working in your system.

Look on line for Flax Seed Oil to see its benefits. It helps the

cholosteral

levels, high blood pressure, arthritis, cleanses the arteries. Doctors

advise their patients to take flax seed oil after open heart surgery.

For many years my hands and arms would fall " asleep " during the night and I

would be almost numb. My joints ached constantly. After taking the capsule

for 3 months, I no longer have any of the symptoms (very very seldom). Its

a

miracle ... read about it in our sources. Good luck.

Hi

I have had foot pain for many years and was finally able to figure out what

the problem was. I was diagnosed with Epstein-Barr virus in the 1980s and

overtime it has reoccured, that is the first place it stared hurting. It's

a

signal to slow down and not to over due.

I had implants in 1975 and have been sick since 1979, not sure if all the

problems are becasuse of the implants but I am sure it didn't help. Had

them

removed in 1996. I hope this may help you.

Good Luck
