Looking for a support group

A patient of mine who had the

Lap Band surgery relocated to Hartford,

CT and wants to connect with a support group

there. If anyone lives

in

that general area and can guide me I would really

appreciate it.

Thanks!

-Hi Izabela Well this group is full of people with all kinds of

problems, some who have had surgeries and some who haven't. But all

of us suffer from some kind of chronic pain. We try to be here for

each other when someone needs support. We would welcome your husband

in joining us. Please tell him to post a note and introduce himself

if he would so we could get to know him. I am sure there are others

that have similar problems to his. And most of us live on pain

medications and go to Pain management dr's, have done the physical

theraphy thing and many other things to try and feel better. There

are several people I know who have DDD in the group. I think its

wonderful of you to look for support for your husband, I know its

hard too living with someone in chronic pain. So feel free yourself

to post any questions you have, we also have several members who have

their other half in pain and often have questions or problems that

they need help with. I look forward to meeting you both and am sorry

your husband is in pain. Sharon Group Owner
