Guest guest
Hi Ladies, I have been advised by several members of the medical community, for those who get flu-shots, to get them ASAP this year. Get your flu-shots NOW! The reason for this is the threat of anthrax. The sooner you get your flu-shots, the easier it will be for anyone coming down with 'flu-like' symptoms to be diagnosed, in case they have been exposed to anthrax. For instance, if you get a flu-shot now, then come down with 'flu-like' symptoms in a couple of months, the easier it will be for you to be tested & treated for anthrax. This is simply not a good year for you to post-pone getting the flu-shot, until December or January. This will make it easier for physicians to make the decision to test you for anthrax if you become ill with the flu-like symptoms. Another point to consider, is to not start taking any antibiotics you may have on hand, if you come up with anthrax symptoms, as taking any antibiotics based on your personal Dx, may simply mask any accurate Dx for flu and/or anthrax. Please remember accurate Dx of anthrax requires a throat and/or nasal culture, prior to taking any form of antibiotics. Please remember, I am not a medical or legal professional, and I only pass this information on to you from professional advice I have been provided. Most sincerely, Martha Murdock Director NSIF
