I thot he would refer me to a pain management doc but he said that was more for ruptured disks and the like. So we are gonna try to figure out what might help the chronic stuff. Thank gawd he is willing to try. As much as I didn't want to go on antidepressants (groggy all the time, dull feeling, etc), he put me on Elavil and said at a low dose it should help me rest better at nite and may help with the aches. Last nite was my first pil. Will take time so we'll see. Vioxx didn't work, nor did celebrex. Naproxin (sp) worked great but can't take it every day. Aleve helps once in a while. Ah well, we'll see!
