Guest guest
Rhoda, For a different NSAID, Celebrex (celecoxib) or Vioxx (rofecoxib) might be easier on your digestive system, but a rheumatologist should be consulted to get to know you, examine you, and come up with a safe treatment plan for you that can arrest any inflammation and prevent or slow any permanent damage to your body. Every drug has its risks, as too many of us know. Here's an article from s Hopkins on cox-2 inhibitors: http://www.hopkins-arthritis.com/osteo/osteo_new_treat.html Remind " the dope " to get you the referral - please. ----- Original Message ----- From: " rhoda kendry " <plantjunkie@...> < egroups> Sent: Tuesday, December 12, 2000 8:52 AM Subject: Re: [ ] member intro > i've taken apo-piroxicam, arthritek and when it was > just bursitis i took ponstan. right now i can't even > take a tylenol without a flare up of colitis..lol > > don't have a rheumatologist yet either you have to be > refered by your doctor and mine is tres busy and keeps > forgetting (the dope) > > rhoda
