Guest guest
Paged the intern this morning and told him I was on my way to the emergency room with increased breathlessness and tightness in my chest. Sat there about 6 hours in a room packed with people hacking up who knows what, vomiting all over the place and then ofcourse all the the gang people with their knife and bullet wounds. Obviously my shortness of breath and tight feeling in the chest weren't important in comparison. Called my good ole doc who was back from vacation...he said he'd order the necessary bloodwork stat and get me blood at his hospital...but there is no way I can afford that. You know, it's times like this when the lack of health care in this country just infuriates me. No other industrialized and " civilized " country functions on the premise that health care is a privilege and not a right. I'm just going to go off my ribavarinn...that should resolve the blood issue which is very difficult for me to deal with...it's not fun when you can't get enough oxygen in your body to function.
